ABOUT THIS PACKAGE

What is OSHA 30-hour Training?

To raise awareness about safety procedures and reduce on-the-job fatalities and accidents, OSHA developed outreach training programs for today’s workforce. There are two different training programs specifically for construction workers: OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour.

Each of the courses covers the OSHA regulatory requirements for workplace safety found in the 29 CFR 1926 for the construction industry—and when you select this package, you get both courses.

Who Should Take Construction Industry Training?

If you’re just getting started in construction or you don’t have any managerial duties, the OSHA 10-Hour Course will prepare you for the potential hazards you'll come across in your daily job. This includes how to protect yourself from the top-four leading causes of fatalities in construction: falls, struck by object, electrocution, and caught in between.

If you are a supervisor or have additional safety responsibilities, the OSHA 30-hour course is ideal for advanced-level safety training. It goes over additional topics that will help you monitor safety procedures and create safety programs to keep your construction team safe while they’re working.
