ABOUT THIS COURSE

What is MSHA First Aid and CPR Training? 

 

This course addresses the particular first aid and rescue procedures that miners are likely to need. We'll cover the basics of first aid care so that you're prepared to step into action at a moment's notice. 

You'll learn when to use first aid and how to treat a variety of injuries, including burns, fractures, poisoning, and other problems that mine workers may encounter. We'll also cover procedures for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). 

Who Should Take MSHA First Aid and CPR? 

Whether you're new to mining or simply need to brush up on your basic first aid and rescue procedures, this course can benefit all miners.
